APF stands for Advanced Processing Facility. Every project of a developer is expected to have a APF. The APF is provided by banks or Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC). The APF denotes that the project has received all necessary approvals and that home-buyers can invest in the project without any fear about the credibility of the developer. Most developers have tie-ups with banks or Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) who offer home loans to the customers.
APF will facilitate a greater number of retail disbursements in the project without having to undergo the individual legal and technical appraisal clearances. More importantly, the overall TAT in the process is shorter. The project will thus be recognized by major banks at no processing fee, the only requirement is of the documents to be provided from the builder's end. This is a systematic way where the project gets approval from all leading banks, through a single window in one go.
